Stan's work, a glimspe into the lives of others

I work at an office, a pretty mundane job with mundane co-workers. maybe its because we're all chinese. day in and day out its the same mindless chatter amongst them. working to maintain the sales and anticipating the next wave of sales. But I call customers... I call them to pay up. So in short, I see a glimspe of other people's lives everyday. I hear it in their tones, and their manner of speech, its a delicate art. I've had some nice experieences and some not too nice ones. I 've had a customer die on me and another one get divorced. Which comes to the story of tonight. Divorces.

I agree that divorces are necessary when it doesn't work between you and your spouse (god forbid) but when you get married, whcih is a life thing, aren't you supposed to try and make things work? I mean... its an obligation. I don't understand these wife beaters and what not. You've married someone you love... and if what I experienced was love... then I would never want to see her sad. Let alone beaten to a pulp. Alcohlics, if the alcohol is bringing problems into your life... shouldn't you see that and perhaps, stop drinking? Then again... this is all just one sided. I'm sure the wife beaters can justify themselves for beating their wife, and the drinkers can justify drinking. I mean, there is no one in the world that when doing what they are doing at the present, believes that they are truly wrong. They always beleive that what they are doing are for the greater good.

just my two cents, from a half baked philosopher.

Now about them philosophers, ... i'll leave this for another night.
